4 years to prepare for 2018 FIFA World Cup

Despite the loss of our National Team having an aggregate score of 5-1 vs Kuwait AL-Azraq, PHIL AZKALS....you guys put up a great fight! We're proud of you! CONGRATULATIONS :) Chin up azkals! You played your hearts out for our country and that's all anyone could ask for Proud Pinoy!!

Stephan Schrock is on another level of football. He's got character attitude and initiative to play for the team... Happy to see the 10 minute fame of Misagh Bahadoran in the field!

Team Captain Aly Borromeo lead the team soar high against the opponent, you made our country proud... you fought the footballing beast though it wasn't the best, but you were very good!

For Neil Etheridge, kudos to your great strength on guarding the goal.... i know you were tired shielding your whole body for the defense move...

To Chieffy Caligdong, Phil Younghusband, Anton Del Rosario, Iam Araneta, Angel Guirado, Rob Gier, Ray Jonsson, Manuel Ott, James Younghusband... and the rest of the team... You were awesome! great energy you got there! Hats off to all of you guys! You all made the archipelago proud!!

The Philippines now have 4 years to prepare for the 2018 World Cup Qualifier....

Right after the match, Kuwait is now 95th in the world ranking while the Philippine Azkals dropped to no. 162.

Meanwhile, neighboring country–Indonesia–was able to beat Turkmenistan in their tie-breaking match with an aggregate score of 5 over 4 and became the first Southeast Asian country to advance to the third round of Asian (AFC) qualifier...

Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos also failed to advance while Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are still playing their respective 2nd leg matches at this very moment.

Ooopppsss, before i forgot, Azkals are the most handsome losers in sports! lolz
